About Kelley

Kelley Ryan has shown her work in Galleries in New York City, Paris, Florida and Nashville, including Galerie Bartoux NYC, Broome Street Gallery, Gallery Elysees Naples, Galerie Bartoux Paris, Galerie Ravin, Miami Design District Pop up Gallery and The Gallery Lounge Boca. She is a member of American Society of contemporary artists and had received multiple awards in various juried exhibitions. She had her debut solo show in 2015 at Galerie Bartoux in Manhattan.

Kelley Ryan’s Headlines works were influenced by her time in Manhattan, they are portrayals of iconic subjects against a backdrop of articles that define their tumultuous lives. All of her portraits are unique and one of a kind…painted with acrylic, charcoal, ink and finished with a resin-coating.

Her new Pop Tarts series has a sculptural, dimensional affect in many pieces. Each work has an element of whimsy, as well as often incorporating patterning. Her life in South Florida is represented by the bold bright colors and botanicals in the works in her current series.
